Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival At Khajuraho & Sightseeing
Your tour begins with a warm welcome upon your arrival at Khajuraho Airport or Railway Station, conveniently located within a 6-kilometer radius. Check-in to your pre-booked hotel for relaxation and refreshment. In the evening, embark on your sightseeing journey with a visit to the local market, indulging in some shopping and immersing yourself in the vibrant atmosphere. Later, attend the captivating evening Light & Sound Show, where you’ll unravel the discovery, history, and myths associated with the Khajuraho temples, located in the Western group of temples, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Overnight stay at the hotel in Khajuraho.
2 Days - Khajuraho Tour
Khajuraho (Departure) After breakfast, head to the Western Group of temples for a day-light exploration of the Khajuraho temples. This temple complex houses the largest collection of temples and is a must-visit destination. You have the option to avail guide service or opt for an audio guide for a self-guided tour. Marvel at the exquisite art and sculpture work of the Khajuraho temples, gaining insight into the profound messages conveyed through the statues. Explore the temples from the inside and capture stunning photographs in the garden areas (with no extra fee). After completing the sightseeing at this complex, proceed to the Eastern Group of temples, where a few temples are located. The duration of temple sightseeing will be approximately 3 hours. With this, your temple visit will come to an end. Later, transfer to the airport or railway station for your departure.
