Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival At Bagdogra – Gangtok (5500 FT / 120 KMS / 5 HRS)

Upon arrival at Bagdogra airport or NJP railway station, our tour representative will warmly welcome you and assist you in transferring to Gangtok. The scenic road journey will take approximately five hours. Upon reaching Gangtok, you will be comfortably checked into your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Gangtok Sightseeing (12400 FT / 43 KMS / 3 HRS) After a delicious breakfast, embark on a captivating road trip to Tsomgo Lake, located 43 km away, famous for its mesmerizing color-changing phenomenon. Spend quality time at the lake before proceeding to Baba Mandir, dedicated to Major Baba Harbhajan Singh. Return to your hotel in Gangtok for an overnight stay. Optional Visit: You may opt to explore the Indo-China border at Nathula Pass. Please note that additional charges apply, and the visit is subject to permit availability. Nathula Pass remains closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Day 3: Gangtok - Darjeeling (6700 FT / 102 KMS / 4 HRS) Begin your day with a delightful half-day tour, visiting Dro-dulChorten and Jhakri Waterfalls. Later, explore the Research Institute of Tibetology and the Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom, both closed on Sundays, followed by a visit to a captivating flower show. Check-out from your hotel and embark on a scenic road journey to Darjeeling (102 km, 4 hours). Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 4: Darjeeling Sightseeing Rise early to witness the enchanting sunrise over the Kanchendzonga Peak from Tiger Hill (subject to clear skies). Proceed to visit Batasia Loop, Peace Memorial, and Ghoom Monastery before returning to your hotel for breakfast. Later, explore Darjeeling's iconic landmarks, including the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursdays), enjoy an optional ropeway ride, and visit the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (closed on Sundays), Tensing Gumpo Rock, a tea estate, the Peace Pagoda, and the Natural History Museum (closed on Sundays). Spend the evening leisurely strolling along the mall road for cultural insights and souvenir shopping. Overnight stay at your hotel in Darjeeling.

Day 5 : Darjeeling - Bagdogra (Departure)

After breakfast, you will be checked out of the hotel and accompanied on a scenic road journey to Bagdogra airport or NJP station (105 km, 3 to 4 hours). If you wish, you can opt to visit Mirik Lake en route, although this excursion is not included in the itinerary’s tariff.

Note: Indian citizens with valid ID proof (original passport, driving license, and/or voter ID) can visit Sikkim without any additional documentation. Children traveling with co-travelers should have a photo ID issued by the school authority. It is also advisable to carry a photocopy of the original birth certificate for children traveling along.

• Accommodation provided on a double sharing basis in the mentioned hotels or similar accommodations.

• Packages include MAP (Breakfast & Dinner) basis.

 • All transfers and sightseeing are facilitated via an exclusive Bolero / Xylo / Similar vehicle accommodating 2-6 passengers per vehicle, as per the itinerary on a point-to-point basis (not at disposal). Please note, AC in the vehicle is not permitted during travel in hilly regions.

What's Excluded

• Expenses for add-on services, optional tours, sightseeing entrance fees, and porters.

 • Costs related to airfare, train fare, rafting, medical emergencies, insurance, additional meals, tea, snacks, etc.

 • Personal expenses such as laundry, incidentals, porter charges, tips, etc.

 • Additional costs arising from extra usage of services, changes in government taxes, political unrest, natural calamities (landslides, road blockages), etc. In such cases, extra expenses will need to be borne by the guest on the spot.

• Any costs not mentioned under the inclusions.
