Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival At Leh

Arriving in Leh can be done either by flight or by road, with regular services available from Jammu, Delhi, Srinagar, Chandigarh, and even Shimla, with the flight taking merely 40 minutes.

Day 2: Leh (Visit Shey, Thiksey, and Hemis Monasteries) Begin your exploration by visiting the renowned monasteries of Ladakh – Shey, Thiksey, and Hemis. Shey Monastery, built by King Deldon Namgyal, houses a colossal statue of Buddha Shakyamuni, crafted from copper sheets adorned with gold. Thiksey Monastery, located 18 km from Leh, is a remarkable example of Ladakhi architecture. Hemis Monastery, established in 1620 by Lama Tagstang Raspa, is located about 50 km from Leh.

Day 3: Leh (Visit Stok Palace, Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa & Leh Market) Delve into Ladakh's ancient culture with a visit to Stok Palace, renowned for its collection of royal crowns, precious heirlooms, and prayer instruments. Later, explore Leh Market for traditional attire, colorful jewelry, and other souvenirs.

Day 4: Leh - Khardungla Pass - Leh Embark on an adventure to Khardung La Pass, the world's highest motorable pass at 5,600 m.

Day 5: Leh (Excursion to Alchi - 67 Kms) Visit the ancient Alchi Monastery, Ladakh's oldest monastery, featuring two main temples – Alchi Du-khang and Sum-tsek, along with smaller structures like the Temple of Manjushri and Lotsawa Lha-khang.

Day 6: Drive to Lamayuru – Leh Begin the day with a morning ride to the Moon Valley and explore Lamayuru Monastery. On the way back to Leh, visit Spituk Monastery.

Day 7: Leh - Delhi (Departure) Transfer to Leh airport for your onward flight to Delhi, marking the end of your Ladakh adventure.
