Day 1 : Arrive Kathmandu
As usual, the Travelogy India team will pick you up at the Kathmandu airport. From the airport, you will be directly routed to your hotel. After relaxing for some time, your tour will begin with visits to the Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa, two of the most intriguing heritage sites in Kathmandu. The 2000-year-old Pashupatinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is a must-see with its stunning architecture and serene atmosphere. Later, you will visit the Boudhanath Stupa, a religious site symbolizing peace, with the iconic eyes of Lord Buddha. The nearby Thangka Paintings gallery is also worth a visit.
Day 2: Kathmandu to Nagarkot
After completing your sightseeing tours in Kathmandu, we will depart for Nagarkot in the evening. If you wish, you can explore more of Kathmandu city. Notable places to visit include Kathmandu and Bhaktapur Durbar Squares. Walking through these areas, you will encounter many fascinating sights such as Kumari Ghar, Hanuman Dhoka Palace, the 55-Window Palace, and several captivating temples in Bhaktapur Durbar Square. By sunset, you will arrive in Nagarkot, where you can enjoy breathtaking views from this picturesque hill station. Nagarkot is a haven for trekkers and hikers, offering numerous opportunities for adventure.
Day 3: Nagarkot to Kathmandu
After a restful night in Nagarkot, wake up early to witness the captivating sunrise views. Nagarkot, surrounded by majestic mountains, offers excellent trekking trails. If interested, you can embark on a two-hour hike to the Nagarkot view tower. After spending the day exploring Nagarkot, we will return to Kathmandu. In the evening, you can enjoy leisurely walks around the city. Thamel is an excellent place for souvenir shopping.
Day 4: Departure from Kathmandu
It's time to bid farewell to the beauty and charm of the Kathmandu valley. After collecting all your sweet and memorable moments, you will check out from the hotel. Travelogy India will then transfer you to the airport for your departure. Though short, this 4-day trip will leave a lasting impression on your life.
