Day 1 : Arrival In Darjeeling
Day 1: Arrival in Darjeeling Upon arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP), Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand, or Bagdogra Airport (XIB), our representative will meet you and assist you in reaching Darjeeling. Check-in to your pre-booked hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 2: Darjeeling Sightseeing Begin the day with an early morning visit to Tiger Hills to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the Kanchenjunga and other peaks of the Eastern Himalayas. Afterward, experience a ride on the renowned Toy Train of Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR), a UNESCO World Heritage Site (Toy train tickets not included). Next, explore the Mountaineering Institute, founded by Tenzing Norgay, and learn about the equipment used in Chholing and Darli, two popular Buddhist monasteries, and visit Makal-babu-ko-thaan, an Observatory Hill with historical significance. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 3: Darjeeling - Mirik – Darjeeling Start the day with another visit to Tiger Hills to catch the sunrise, followed by a visit to Ghoom Monastery. After breakfast, proceed to the local market and then depart for Mirik. Mirik, meaning 'Place burnt by fire', offers stunning views of the serene hills. Enjoy leisure time by Sumendu Lake, engaging in activities like horse riding, boating, and canoeing. On the way back, visit the Indo-Nepal border before returning to Darjeeling for an overnight stay.
Day 4 : Darjeeling (Departure)
