Itinerary
Day 1 : Guwahati – Kaziranga (250 Kms / 5 Hrs)
Upon arrival at Guwahati Railway station or airport, drive to the famous world heritage site, Kaziranga, situated in the state of Assam. Check into your pre-booked hotel and enjoy leisure time in the evening. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
Day 2: Kaziranga (Jeep Safari & Elephant Ride) Begin your day with a thrilling 1-hour elephant ride in the morning. After breakfast, embark on a Jeep Safari (at own expense) in the central range part of Kaziranga National Park. Explore the local village and Tea garden in the evening. Overnight stay in Kaziranga. Note: Permit for Elephant Ride & Jeep Safari is subject to the approval of the Forest department.
Day 3: Kaziranga to Dirang (250 Kms / 7.5 Hrs) Check out from your hotel after breakfast and proceed to Dirang, a charming city in Arunachal Pradesh. Enjoy exploring apple orchards and other attractions upon arrival. Check into your hotel in Dirang and stay overnight.
Day 4: Dirang to Tawang (130 Kms / 5 Hrs) After breakfast, drive to Tawang, passing through the scenic Sela pass. Enroute, visit Paradise Lake, Jung fall, and JaswantGarh. Check into your hotel in Tawang and stay overnight.
Day 5: Tawang Local Sightseeing (Bumla Pass + Madhuri Lake) Explore the local sightseeing attractions of Tawang after breakfast. Visit the Tawang Monastery, War Memorial, and Tawang ropeway. You can also opt to visit Bumla Pass, Madhuri Lake, AniGumpha, and PTSO Lake (on supplement charge). Return to the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 6: Tawang to Bomdila (180 Kms / 6 Hrs) After breakfast, drive to Bomdila, exploring the Bomdila Monastery on the way. Check into your hotel upon arrival and stay overnight.
Day 7: Bomdila to Tezpur (160 Kms / 6 Hrs) Enjoy breakfast and then drive to Tezpur. Explore CitralekhaUdyaan, Agnigarh, Coal park, and Mahabhairab Temple enroute. Check into your hotel in Tezpur and enjoy leisure time in the evening. Stay overnight.
Day 8: Tezpur to Guwahati (190 Kms / 5 Hrs) After breakfast, drive to Guwahati, exploring some sightseeing spots along the way. Check into your hotel upon arrival and stay overnight.
Day 9: Guwahati Departure (20 Kms / 1 Hrs) Have breakfast early in the morning and proceed to Guwahati Railway station or Airport for departure.
